Hi..

I think it would be better to search around on the internet. If you use the keywords "8051 SBC" there are some projects that interface your required components. Some even provide schematics and code.

U can use P89c51RD2 its having inbuilt PWM Module

c code for pwm using microcontroller

U can choose the Analog microcontroller ADUC which has inbuit PWM , ADC,DAC. So its easier to do all operations with that IC. If u need example programs for that IC i will help u
 

hi i currently working the similar project, i face a problem when i try to produce PWM for my driver motor. My motor only running at 100% duty cycle (i connect th vcc on my 8051 port) but when i use a pin there is something a little strange. the voltage that is supposed to be 5v(4.96-4.98) become 0.8-2.3v (i measure it when i connect my port pin to the circuit pin)..

do any of you have some advice for this problem?

the second is, i make a circuit for serial communication using rs232 and max232, before i etching my pcb i already test it and the output is ok, but now i don't know rather i forget how to setting the hyperterminal or other cause my micro seems cannot read any data from this connection...
thx a bunch if any of you give advice.
