hi friends,

Which is the best protocol for hacking? HTTP? TELNET? or something else?

can anyone post some tutorial links for learning these protocols.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Protocols

You may get the protocol details from faq.org

Protocols

Internet protocols are defined in RFC (Request for Comment) documents.
For example, TELNET is RFC 854, HTTP is RFC 2616.
https://www.rfc-editor.org/

We don't discuss hacking on EDAboard.

Re: Protocols

Thanks to you all.
But I am a little bit confused, because don't you what hacking is? cracking is illegal but not hacking. You please check what are their actual definitions.

Protocols

EDAboard is for discussions of electronics design and automation.

Both ethical hacking and malicious hacking are simply off-topic here. Just like swimming or cooking would be off-topic.

Re: Protocols

Ok friend. I agree with you. Sorry for the previous post. Will try to avoid such posts.

Protocols

Well cracking means breaking some thing , like cracking a software with a code etc. but hacking is a general terms . Hacking means doing what u want with the resources u have . Lets say u have a bicycle and u modify it , put a little battery and make it into a makeshift moped. Now u don't have to paddle the bycle to ur destination so U HACKED bicyle and made it into a moped and solved ur purpose. Similarly u can hack some software to do more than what it is supposed to do etc.

Protocols

The original question indirectly specified internet hacking. I know of two modern definitions: ethical hacking (the legitimate study of computer security), and malicious hacking (unauthorized computer access, a felony in most countries).
