Hi,
Need an analogue linear amplifier circuit for 10 MHz. Capable of delivering atleast 10 watts into 50 Ω. The one I designed is delivering only 3 Watts into 50 Ω. Can any one help me. Cost will not effect my project.

Thnx a lot for reply. I have tried this design but could not get more than 4 watts.

10mhz power amplifier

I built this circuit long time ago as a driver for an HF 100W Power Amplifier, and works fine.
2SC2078 is a 4W transistor used in CB radios, and for 10W output power you have to replace it with 2SC2509, (10W each).

This is also a cheap transistor (if you find it).
Beware that you lose approximately 3dB (half of the power in watts) on the output transformer.

**broken link removed** is a kit amplifier that puts out 20 W.

Thanks a lot Gentelmen. I got the problem solved. Thanks again. :D

Can you please send me a copy of this circuit? I'm making the same thing. The page seems to have expired.
