Hi,
What type of violations occur because of cross talk delay and what type of violations occur because of glitch.why those violations occure in the designs. Please inform me good techniques to fix those violations.

Re: SI

Crosstalk is induced by capacitance between two net. You can insert shield between these net, space the net, and split the nets by inserting buffer.

SI

Glitches on a victim net are caused by switching of nearby aggressor net(s) and the coupling capacitance between vitim and aggressors. This can lead to incorrect data to be captured by a flop and thus a functional error.

Delay noise is similar but the victim net is also switching. This can cause the victim net delay to either increase (if vitim is switching in opposite direction on aggressors) leading to possible setup violations or decrease (if all nets are switching in same directions) leading to hold violations.

SI

cross talk will increase delay in one case nt always... then v can expect setup violation

glitch is also cause of cross talk .. which may lead to functional failure !!
