Hi guys ..

How to copy a line in Emacs without using the mouse ? .. is there any short-cut for that ?

Thankx in advance ..

1 First go to starting of the line or block which you want to copy.
2. Press Ctrl + Spacebar to Set the mark.
3. Now go to end of the line or block.
4. Press Alt+W, this will copy the text from the mark to current cursor position.
5. Use Ctrl+Y to paste the copied text.

various methods to do the same
method 1(without killing)
1. press ctrl-a and you will come to start of the line.
2. press ctrl-space to start mark.
