please help me IGPT Transistor CT60AM

this is a IGPT transistor i found in Electrical circuit in Markteck machine ( racers machine)

ididnt found this kind of transistors at my town and iam thinking about replacement

is theres any way to replace IGPT by regular transistor or regular mosfet

i tried IRFP450 but it burnt out .

please please help

I think your only option is to order one. This is an isolated gate bipolar transistor. It was specially designed to have the voltage controlled gate feature of a MOSFET and the output characteristics of a BJT.

I think if a normal power MOSFET would have worked in this circuit, the designer would have used one. IGPT are more expensive that MOSFETs, so they had to choose this part for a reason.
 

ct60am replacement

itried to replace it by mosfet , but the only one i had found to be most compatible is the IRFP450 but not 60A its just 20A

this circuit controlled with DC motor

and when we replace it by mosfet , the mosfet burnt out after short time

i cant solve this problem please help me !!!!!!

You can't replace one component rated for X amps of current with one that is not even near X ..

But, you can connect MOSFETs in parallel, and to make 60A equivalent you will have to connect something like 5 of 20A MOSFETS together ..

ct60am circuits

well how can i connect mosfet in parallel ? i need 900v 60A using IRFP450 (this is what i found at my town )

please if theres any links or attachments papers it will be useful

and i live in israel by the way if any one can help me .
