ku stipline

Anybody out there ever have any luck getting a strip line (two soft boards sandwiched together) bandpass filter to work at say 13 GHz?

stripline bpf

Yes, it a very standard approach to distributed microwave filters. However, the feasability is mostly dependent upon the bandwidth of the filter, and the thickness of the stripline substrate. Please provide a little detail, including loss and attenuation characteristics if possible.

i have seen many as microstrip but not strip line in the satellite LNB it is implemeted as microstrip BPF

I sure you could but I'm limited to one side of board (low cost) so always use microstrip.
