The challenges in Rf never end.
I am designing one 88~108Mhz low noise preamplifier.
After finding the input impednace with the help of smith chart,
next step is to design the filter. now as i want to design low loss at 88~108Mhz & want other frequencies to attenuate as much possible.
How can u design such filter with the help of smithchart?

u need to go through passive filter design steps from finding the low pass prototype and then normalize the filter and so on , o u n can use of the cad tools avialble to design and tune the filter

I think the input must be like 50 or 75 ohms. And the impedance of the preamplifier must be complex number. Which software will do this job easily? Very interesting.
