matlab code,notch filter

hello,
can anyone provide me with the code or implementation ideas for low pass filter of particular cut-off frequency and notch filter without using inbuilt functions on MATLAB ...

digital notch pass

u can simply use equations defining filters response (but any matlab code should use a built in function)

Added after 2 minutes:

u can use laplace
 

First you should try to make a program using the equations given in
any filter book. If this does not work them try looking on Matlabs
"File Exchange page". You can find it here.
