Problem with X-Y Plotter

I was trying to plot a PCB layout using a Roland DXY-1200 and Orcad 9.2.2. The problem is, it is filling the pads so much (starting with an outer circle and then plotting concentric circles within it with constantly reducing diameter, thus filling it) that the pads are getting merged with the next one. Same thing happened with Eagle.

I was using a 0.35 size pen and in the plotter setup decrared it as a 2mm pen hoping that it wouldn't try to fill that much, but it didn't work.

Anyone using an XY plotter would please give me any suggestion on how to overcome this problem or would share their experience regarding this?

Thanks
