ft-1802m service manual

Hello!

I am looking for service manual / technical supplement for Yaesu HAM radio transceiver FT-1802.
Any hints? I am looking for the FULL service manual including alignment procedures etc., not only the circuit diagram (that one is available here).

I have found a lot of Yaesu service manuals on

**broken link removed**

but not this transceiver. The transceiver is also known as FT-1802E or sometimes FT-1802M. Dunno the differences.

Hello!

At least here is a procedure for calibration (I haven't verified it by myself up to now, so please report errors here).

FT-1802 Calibration Menu

To enter the menu: Go into VFO mode
- Turn off the radio from it's front panel.
- Hold in MW and DW buttons
- Turn on the radio from it's front panel.

To change a setting: Turn the tuning knob to select the setting.
- Press MW to see it's value.
- Turn the tuning knob to change it's value.
- Press MW to return to view mode.

When done: Press DW to save settings and restart the radio
To exit without saving turn off the radio.

The Settings: Write them down before changing them!
RF = Frequency
TN = RX Sensitivity
TL = Squelch Range
S1 = Bar graph low
S9 = Bar graph high
HP = 50 watt power
L3 = 25 watt power
L2 = 10 watt power
L1 = 5 watt power
DU = Deviation
100 = CTCSS Level
DL = DCS Level

This information is from the yahoo FT-1802 group.

Hi Pit: I did a quick search on google.ca for "Yaesu FT-1802" and it provided more than 17,000 links. Check them out.

But none with a service manual! Nevertheless I got one from another source.
Google isn't always your best friend.

Hello! I am aged one radio FT -1802M introducing the one ensuing blemish : The frequency blinking , the one cooler did not he broadcasts AND nor he opens the one SQL , drum did not receives he swims.

I wish to reduce the power levels on my FT-1802, in HP and L3 to 15 watts to drive my
Microset SR100 but when I select these service items, instead of power levels I
get C4 and 8E "codes" respectively and turning the VFO other "codes" also.

Does anyone know what these "codes" mean and what code would be 15 watts.
