dusk to dawn circuit

Hey all:

I have about 300 ft. of driveway I'm trying to mark. I have some ceramic traffic lane markers which I will install a single 3.5 VDC 20 mA LED. Planning on using a NiCad rechargeable battery along with a photoresistor so the LEDs will come on at dusk and off at dawn. These are simply marker lights for the driveway boundries not for driveway illumination.

Does anyone have a circuit or an idea for a circuit of this type? I appreciate any ideas on this.

Respectfully,

DJ

dawn to dusk circuit

yes
you need a knite rider type sequencial flasher using a cmos chip

let me show you an archive of this type of circuit

alternatly i happen to know
that most big 20mm type flashing leds when connected by a common power supply cable will flash in sequence anyway so dispensing with the ciruit board
im sure you can find a cheep reliable detector for about 10-15 euros so.. this can be carefully connected and weatherproofed and used to switch the power to all the leds at once

to be fancy you can also fit ir detect ... or motion detector

Added after 15 minutes:

but my dream is a programmable led

so i can adjust things like sample time etc gate lag led balance etc

would be dam handy if it was networked also

with changable emiter element
