pml waveguide
Dear all
I am programing a 2D fdtd code to simulate a straight dielectric slab waveguide. The waveguide extends through the pml to the outer boundary of the fdtd lattice. According to Taflove's book, σ in transverse direction of pml must be normalized to avoid surface charge at the boundaries of the discontinuity. I had tried many ways, but I still can not solve the reflection problem which occur in the pml.
Could anyone please help?
