Beyond Logic website has a sample design for a PDIUSBD11, which I beleive is similar, except has an i2c interface as opposed to a prallel.

You can try out the examples from Philips .. they are in sub directories, they are 3-4 .. or you may ask in USB developers forum w*w.usb.org .. there are some other exapmle projects from Intel ..
