detail on topic pnp and npn tranistor

Can someone please tell me what is the difference between pnp and npn transistors in terms of application of collector to ground voltage(Vcc)?

difference between pnp & npn transistor

the npn vcc is positive also vce to be active
if the vbe is -ve then it is cut off
in the pnp the opposite is the true
