Scanner -X-ray Machine.

What is the differance between Scanner & x-ray machine?
Which one is economical?(cheaper)
Any advantage , dissadvantage?

Re: Scanner -X-ray Machine.

Scanner would come in the category of optical products and would cost a few dollars. Use is scanning of documents and images
X-Ray on the other hand would come in the category of Nuclear Radiation products and would cost thousands dollars. Use is sacnning of bones etc.
One has office usage and the other has medical usage.
So there could be no comparison between both.

Re: Scanner -X-ray Machine.

Yes, understood.
What about the Industrial X-ray Machine?

Re: Scanner -X-ray Machine.

Industrial x-ray machine in electronic products is mainly used to look for soldering issues in high density pins IC that you cannot access with a regular microscope.

Is also used to look for mechanical defects in areas that you cannot access with your eyes, a camera or a microscope.
