Dear All,
I want to design the DC-DC converter with following specifications:

Wattage:300W
Input voltage: 400VDC
Output Volatge: Variable from 100VDC to 400VDC by means of Analog Input to the PWM controller IC.

Please guide me in this project
regards
JSPS

Re: DC-DC converter

Dear All,
what is this? i did not receive a single positive reply from any of the experts!

plz reply
thanks

Re: DC-DC converter

dear JSPS:
thats hard to design this cicuit.because you want a high power output so i dont think u can find any IC's to do this for u.so u have just one way i think..u should make that with high power transistors and put some relays to swich in the input for different output voltage and u should always remember the maximum COLLECTOR and EMMITER voltage and also output CURRENT that is transistor's POWER.u can use a simple rgulator for that..i hope u can make that if not should use swiching power supply

Re: DC-DC converter

dear hossein_samani,

we are tryign out the same with linear regulators.
plz forward me if you any more ideas.

I feel that we can do this by using half bridge push pull converter.
plz check out the following link

**broken link removed**

and comment on the design

DC-DC converter

let start from output section. my old 3-phase inverter project made use of power MOSFET like IRFP450 it stand for 14A,500 volts.

be carefull about dead time of all power mosfet and make sure there have no floating gate before turning that DC 400V input voltage on,

or let us know when u get a BOOM!!!

Re: DC-DC converter

Dear Koson,
If possible please provide the circuit diagram upon which you had been worked.
Which is better, half bridge or full bridge?

and what about micropower management

I would like to know if someone could guide me in my search of papers about ultralow micropower DC/DC converter desing for portable aplications.

Any papers of PhD. Gabriel RincOn Mora,

Kendoi,

LCGL.
