Can ne1 help me how to design a LPF(fir) by window method sampling freq=100hz and cut off=20khz..without using FFT

Re: Low pass filtering

bharathchandra,
The Parks McClellan method yields a FIR with linear phase, and almost any filter amplitude characteristic. However, you must have acces to the software package. It's not a practical method to implement by hand.
