Hi all:

How to select a SMA connector for a CPW UWB antenna? Does the choice of SMA connector changes the measure results (S11) significantly.

An SMA connector should work for frequencies until 18 GHz. If your design falls in the frequency range, you should not have a problem because of a good connector.

hi teknikalar,
the type,or more directly, the specification of the SMA connector has a great effect on the accuracy of your measurement. Generally, the higher frequency result you would like to get, the thinner pin of coaxial line is needed. So the type of the SMA connector depends on the frequency intrested, especially the upper edge frequency. You may try to contact the instrument company e.g the network analyzer, for technique support.
