About Cadence!

search it online, there are lots of articles about how to setup and install it under different systems.

Re: About Cadence!

The setup will not be one shot thing.

Best people to contact will be cadence customer service.

Re: About Cadence!

Better way to do this is for you to chat with Cadence Customer Service. I believed, licenses are issued differently, could be for multiple users or just for a single user, at least that is what I have learned from a nut shell.

About Cadence!

As I know, there are two license type:dynamic and attaching.I think you should use the dynamic type,so the hard device will not effect it.

Re: About Cadence!

hi!

cadence can run on unix based systems, like linux or solaris. on a windows platform you need third party programs like xwin to log on virtually to the unix system. you need to setup a license server so that you do not have to spread your license to every host machine, for obvious protection reasons. and you need to keep those licenses secure, heck they cost a lot of money! as far as i know cadence licenses need not be installed in every host machine. a maximum of 20 people can use the software at any time though. weird but why would your company or school perhaps would buy 20 licenses and no one knows how to set it up? i mean you cannot have cadence personnel everyday there. ask them to hold some sort of seminar to every user. so you would know, at least up to the time when license renewal comes again.
