pl-2301 network

Where is the schematic for USB to USB file transfer cable be obtained?

Does the software for USB networking exist?

Will the performance be better than regular Ethernet type network?

All contributions welcome!

Thanks for your time and efforts.

only can this problem be solved in hardware?
can software do the similar stuff as the chips?

:?:

basically, this problem is still solved by the software. this asic should provide a nic driver, and it works similar to that from Ethernet type network. thus it is taken as one nic device from os's point of view. why this asic exists? i only can say where can we find a device w/ 2 usb ports?
