Can anyone help me on how to model the bjt transistor (ebers-moll and the gummel-poon models) and how to develop simple programs to simulate a circuit in matlab?

Re: Circuit Simulation

are you looking for an Hspice model?

Circuit Simulation

You can see mosis.com

Re: Circuit Simulation

the orcad software has models embedded for bjt and cmos
also you can define models in pspice or hspice by yourself

Circuit Simulation

why do you want to use matlab for circuit simulation?
if you interested in look a "how to make a simulator..." like book, because as I know any solution in matlab for supporting the circuit simultaion.
not at all, i think you can easily implement the ebers-moll model in matlab then you can solve the equations, many supports in matlab for solving equations. but it's just for fun.

Re: Circuit Simulation

Hi Dear Jerechoestolero!

Most of the simulators have models for BJTs and you need to set the appropriate parameters according to the datasheet of each BJT.

Thanks!

Circuit Simulation

hey guys, i think Jerechoestolero want to implement a simulator in matlab, rather than using for example SPICE. So may be he is interested in the theory and algorithms of a simulator, and the theory of the transistor modells.
