State space domain in Matlab ----- Please help me!

transforming to state space

I have a problem transforming an input signal (Digital signal - BPSK) and the channel coefficient into state space domain in Matlab. The reason of transforming into state space domain is the application of Kalman filter to compensate the signal distorted by ISI.

Please educate me on the state space transformation in Matlab.

Is there any book that i can learn about this subject? Please tell me.

Kindly give me some hint on this subject or any websites or links that can help me to solve the problem.

Hi,

Do you want to use it for signal detection/equalization in fading channel?
If yes for what kind of channel (I mean frequency selective/time varying or what?)
state space equations depend on kind of application you want. so for different scenarios state space equation differ?
