I have a long spectre simulation running through ADE. I tried running another hspice sim through a seperate ADE window but I am not able to run it. Is this possibly because of ADE license issues? Is there a work around to run simultenious sims?

yes,
running hspice in ADE need hspice license for interface to CDS.
Specially, In ic5141, you can use hspiceD, but that still need a licence to support the interface between them.

you can run many jobs continuously..but if you have enough license..you can run the simulations in the batch mode..by doing like this..

ADE Window...

Setup---) Simulator/Directory/Host/---) Then select the simulator spectre or whatever you have then choose your project directory ....then you can find the Host Mode ..always you have highlighted local...for this batch mode simulation you click distributed..by doing this you will be able to submit your job automatically or manually you can submit the job ..parallely...once the job is over it will automatically mail the location of the result..

if you don't click the Auto Job submit ....you can enter the name of the simulation and you go to results and select the name of the simulation which you have run.
