new to research in vhdl and dsp

hai

iam frm a.p iam now in the research area in dsp and vlsi how to approach the research .what sort of books i have to read to implements a reserch problems in this area .Ihave an offer from a industry to do resaerch but on that company they do the things with c language. I have a knowledge in c. but how to implement that to dsp problems of codecs all these so please show any reources in online books for implementation of dsp by c language

Well, different companies look into implementation in different ways. You will have to find out what the compiler tools the specific company is using and learn it. For eg: if you want to try out codecs in an Analog devices DSP, use their tools itself. TI also have a differnt set.. like that!
