Sometimes when I try to simulate an HFSS design I get the following error:

[error] Adaptive solution setup, process abc3d : File write failed in subprocess "wave". Probable cause is running out of disk space. (1:18 ìì Äåê 06, 2006)

I haven't found anything on the net about this one.

It sometimes happens but not always. When I try to do a parametric simulation, only half the variations are finished. What could be wrong here??

My design is a 3d corner reflector with a monopole in it , fed by a lumped port, nothing too complicated.

You don't have enough free space on harddisk. When running hfss results folder is huge. Just free some space on disc!

in hfss homepage settings...go to tools.. options... a field name size ( i guess) will be ther.... default it will be (800 MB).. change acc to ur hard disk...

Thanks to both for answering but the problem insists

It can't be disk space (i have 30-40gigs free)
In another pc the errors don't happen when i simulate the same design.
Also i can't find the option krishna said.

Any other ideas??
