I need comment for nano meter technology...
what it is ???
why it is ???
and issues related to this
As per my idea because complexity of chip is increasing and transister size is reducing so now a days width of the transiter or channel lenght goes into nanometer...Am I right or not

Thanks in advance
with regards

Usually nanometer in IC fabrication refers to the silicon wafer thickness used. Now from 90nm to 63nm still less thickness wafers are being manufactured.

When the thickness reduces, number of transistors increases and heat also reduces. But it is complicated.
