How to generate the code coverage database in NCsim

I'm using the NCsim simulator of Windows version.
How to generate the code coverage database?
Where is the Code Coverage User Guide?
Is there other tools to do code coverage test?

Are you using the nclaunch tool or running it via script/command line? If using command line, pass:

ncelab -coverage top_cfg

ncsim coverage commands

hello Ajeetha,

soem time back, I was asking abt VCD file generation using model sim. i was able to make evry thing perfectly for smaller designs ..
I now have problesm in using vcd add command.........i am able to generate a VCD file for almost all instances ..but i have problems with instance with symbol "\" in it .. could u please tell me how to over come this ..

Do you have a small testcase to demo the problem? Without it, it is hard to assist
