How to understand convergence problem?

I want to know what happen when change .OPTIONS statement in HSPICE file to understand this problem. Anyone could give me an advice? in more details is the best.

Because It's difficult to find "convergence problem" in very big circuit.
Anyone met 'convergence" errors? help me pls
