can anyone suggest which vendors tools are best for analog and mixed signal design flow out of cadence, mentor and synopsys.....

and what are the various criterions to be seen to compare amon them?????if anyone has some good paper on this then plz do post it...

but isnt hspice considered a golden standard in analog design for front end simulations....and can u plz provide me with step by step tools used in cadenec suite in mixed signal design

Cadence virtuoso environment provides evrything from schematic entry, to GDSii format...

In mixed signal domain, hsim is a good choice.

in analog design cadence has capture the prominent market

And what about mixed-signal design?

What do you mean by mixed signal simulation :
- if digital is small : hsim or nanosim are good choices
- if digital is medium : smash is a good compromise
- if digital is huge : hsim or spectre + verilog is good
