Hello all,
I was wondering who among the Analog Design Group in a company is the highly paid and whoes task is the most toughest n critical?

Is it the OpAmp Designer?

I hope the Analog professional here would give their opinion....

Analog system design is critical

I'm afraid seldom engineer design OpAmp only.
The highly paid guys usually work in more aspects than others, project leader is a case in point.

Analog Designer is not only about designning Op Amp.

Also the pay scale donot depend upon what you design, rather your position in the company, which can range from design engineer, team leader, manager or architeceht

I remember a book said that opamp is the king of analog... with opamp as a basic, u can design a lot of other analog stuffs.

Yes also an OpAmp is the first building block of any Analog Circuit. When one shift to a new technology an OpAmp is the first block designed and checked for the effects of scaling. So if one can design an OpAmp he can design other stuff quiet easily.Above all to design OpAmp one needs very good understanding of circuit analysis and frequency compensation and stability.

generally , the most persons paid in a company are the managers, about the ic designers, it isnt specific that opamp designer or mixer designer, but you may say; rf ic designer or analog/mixed ic designer, and i think the salary depend on the department you are in ,if there isnt one salary for the company

my dear :

I think the opamp circuit is basic of IC circuit design struction,

most of analog circuit are more complex and hard, example PA and

demodulation circuit, so opamp is the basic but important part of IC

design, this is my little opinion, thanks.

Ok, try now this:

I didn't learned about OA ddesign, but I filed a patent on Switch Capacitor Intergrator.

No, what do you think?
D.

Op-Amp is the building block for an Analog Designers
So if you know Opamp designing you have tasted analog desiging.
The critical part of Analog Designing is about handling the errors ,timing problems
