What is the best Antennas to transmit 900mhz//1800mhz gsm

900 mhz antenna type

hi there,
can anybody help out in wat kinda antenna type is best to transmit 900mhz/1800mhz gsm signals for a project.also on wat kinda other devices that cld work well with the circuitry.
I am thinkin of using a monopole antenna...i need to know the effects.
If anybody can help with the schematics...

900 mhz antenna projects

It depends on your project type, for a handheld equipment helix monopole would do , for car kit a whip type monopole would be good.
For GSM handset antenna, PIFA(Planar Inverted F Antenna) antenna is common.

The whip antenna is the best, because it's bigger.

10x man ...i still need responses from other folks to know wat their opinion is all abt..but its a small project for school.Wat do u think abt a patch antenna..?
