Bro, I do not think you will get any of this free VHDL code for both codecs. Their IP core are being patented, especially SPIHT. You might be able to get some DCT (JPEG) HDL code from net.

I just want to know if you had any success, cuz iv tried very hard to find any thing on verilog or vhdl on SPIHT.
 

i want code matlab for spiht or ezw compression
