Now I am reading op-amp, find almost got nothing new to invent?
Want to do ADC in future? what is the critical component to be designed in ADC?

frequency of operation.....(more than 1GHz)..........

well, every component is critical.but if you like to do something complex and interesting, try designing a non-linear adaptive quantizer.

use in this manner
a resitor divider-unity gain Opamp -ADC convertor....

now a days u get really good ADC in market...

12,14-bit ADC are reliable...

Design a high speed ADC (> 1GHZ) for more than 10 bit resolution.

high speed and more than 10 bits?
why it is a challenge for design?

Speed and resolution/SNR is trade-off.
