Is there a limit for the number of FM receivers we can have per FM transmitter?

serious doubt,
we are having fm and am transmitters in this world. consider that within an area only one transmitter is present. now incase we tune a single radio in that area we would hear the station due to the power transfer. incase we bring 100 radios near the same place wont the power be equally divided in that area among all the radiios?? is there actually any limit to the number of receivers we can have per transmitter???

are my thoughts logical???

THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE,
AMRITH.S.

Re: signal power

The presence of receivers do not distort the transmitted field very much. Almost all of the transmitted power is "wasted" by going out to infinite distance.

The receiving antenna collects the field power by about the equivalent of 1/8 of a square wavelength multiplied by the power density (watts/square meter) of the field.
