hi all,

which is the best way to improve the linearity of a folded mixer??
source degeneration of the gm stage is one way..
what i found from simulation is that source degeneration will affect the noise figure.

is there any other better way than this??

how the source degeneration will affect the noise figure of the mixer??

a better way is to use source coupled rather than differential pair but this comes on the expense of common mode rejection,

thermal noise of the degeneration resistors will increase the noise figure, one way is to use inductive degeneration instead resistive one but this will add AREA

Hi
try inductance for source degeneration
