pic16f84 dc motor

Hello...
Here I have a project that include a DC motor,PIC 16F84 and L293D. I need a guide on way to control DC motor by using PIC16F84 and L293D.Anyone here can help me..
1) To construct the circuit - the motor should drive clockwise and anti-clockwise
2) Suggest a website or book that I can refer regarding this project.

with that,
thank you:idea:

dc motor speed control using pic16f84

If not mistaken the l293D is more alike the same as L293B,
or refer to this

To complete a circuit, u need 2 inputs. The use the two buffer, u need to enable it by setting pin 1 to high.
For the motor to rotate, either supply high to pin 2 and low to pin 7 or the other way round..

If u need to use ramp start or speed control, just use a NOT gate, supply the PWM output from F84 to the input of NOT. The PWM input is supplied to pin 2, and output of NOT gate supplied to pin 7.

Think tats all, not tat difficult....
