What are the pros & cons of starting career in ASIC back

Doubt abt future

Hello friends,

I wanted to know what are the pros & cons of starting career in ASIC back end from service based company. Please tell me advantages and disadvantages.

There are no fixed pros /cons.

You'd find as many opinions as the number of people respond.
Some would say, job is good and salry is great and others vice versa.

I am into backend and have many friends from frontend too.....and there seems to be no consesus.

Some regret coming into this job, some feel extremely happy to be a part of ASIC design.

but i know u are expecting some kind of help from the board so let me tell you my views :-

Advantages : Work is good and satisfying.
Salary is great. future prospects are good.

Disadvantages :

You gotta work very very hard !!!
Life ain't too easy ahead (you gotta be up to date always to be in the market).
Sometimes, u might end up becoming JACK of only a single trade. !!!
