Does anyone have been on INFINEON interview?

INFINEON

Hello every one,

i am a fresh VLSI graduate and am called for an interview with INFINEON italy. the general procedure has 3 rounds
1) general test
2) tech test
3) interview

if any one has already appeared for this interview, please let me know with some possible questions as ihave no idea as like wat will theu ask me .. ur help will greatly appreciated

well...i guess it may include:

-device physics/transistor modelling
-basics in analog design or RF or mixed signals (that's according to ur post for sure)
-IC fabrication knowledge
-design rules...DRC/LVS
-technology files... extract files
-CAD tools u use
-programming (for instance: C, Perl, etc.)
-linux for sure
-analytical thinking and good problem solving techniques
-interpersonal and communication skills (team work)
-documentation skills

hope that helps
but sometimes u r not really asked for detailed technical stuff
u'r already a fresh graduate...so no need to tension at allllll

just have self confidence and don't tension specially in the personal interview

. i tried searching for general analog interview question but could not find proper one. can u please sugget me soem sites r books which deal with analog and mixed sigals design.

Use search option:




and read problems in analog section...
also serach for analog (Gray,Razavi,Allen) and layout books (Hastings) on this site

As long as you are a fresher you donnot have to worry much about technical details, as they will mostly concentrate on your attitude.
Prepare strongly on the projects you have done at college level, and you should have some elementry knowledge of the field which you are opting for.

As a fresher , you should not expect highly technical question. But be prepared about :-

Fabrication process and basic analog/digital design concepts.

If the post is for middle-level then they mostly will be asking u abt the projects u have done untill and if any of the already involved are close to teh requirements ,, consentrate more on tat .. and from the requirements they will try to ask u if u have any prior experiece .. so be well prepared and also make u have a thorough understanding of theire requiremnts ..

if its fone interview .. then be cool else prepare well
