hi

i want to simulate this oscillator in OrCAD. but it doesn't oscillate. also, i added some INITIAL CONDITION to its file but it doesn't work too.

what is the problem?

regards, Mostafa, Iran

Re: oscillator in OrCAD

Go to the control area which shows the simulation tolerances. Make all of them several orders of magnitude tighter.

oscillator in OrCAD

hi flatulent
thank you
where is "control area"?

Re: oscillator in OrCAD

I use a very old version of orcad that uses ascii text input and so use the .options command.

If you use a newer version look in the help menu for words like reltol and abstol. These are relative tolerance and absolute tolerance.
