interal timestep too small

**error** internal timestep too small in transient analysis

time = 0.00000D+00; delta = 3.72529E-20; numnit = 304

I often encounter such error.
How to deal with it usually?

hspice time step

hello

these links should help you

**broken link removed**

spice internal timestep

in my opinion,you should simulate it by using hsim before using hspice. hsim can spot out most of errors in your netlist.

timestep too small spice

to check yr circuit to find the error;
or put some options in Hspice to help it converge.

hspice error

for convergence error, you should first check your circuit, then add some option to help convergence. sometimes different hspice version can solve it. lucky!

kaj spice

I have a document about spice convergency. But I cannot upload. I can send to your email box.

internal timestep too small in transient

Add some initial condition for some critical node. It may help.

hspice errors

1) using the ramp up supply;

2) check if there are any signals with quicker ramp rate @ the breakpoint, if there are some of this kind of signals, try to changes the ramp rate;

3)try different options.

u can fix this type of error by giving the different option like gmindc, method = gear, and cshunt ..
