ASIC expert consultant

Attn - Recently joined VLSI Design Engineers esp., India, China

I am ASIC/IC designer who has worked for top semiconductor firms and as well as hot start-ups (all in the United States) with combined design experience of over 10 years. I have expertise in every field of ASIC design from RTL coding to logic and physical synthesis to Place and route (including low power design, DFT, timing optimization). I have had worked on several diverse customer designs. If you are a fresh graduate and have joined an entry level position, it will be overwhelm you as you will find the industry much different from academia. You will be surprised that you will have several things to learn on the job even after having mastered material taught in the University. At this point you will need help, someone who will answer and guide you through all your questions so that you may not get stuck in the job and be a show-stopper which will be very inimical to your career (believe me its true - your first few months are critical in making an impression. If your knowlege/skills are jugded to be unimpressive you will be on the layoff list and they wiil get rid of you at the first availabe opportunity).

These skills/knowledge/trade secrets cannot be obtained in the university or on the job. Your colleagues or senior designers will be unwilling to help you as they will be afraid of you and look at you as a competetion for their own jobs. Therefore you will need an outside help, from a senior expert.

I will offer consultancy for a fee of US $200 for two months. It will include unlimited questions via email, phone etc. answered very fast. After two months I can be on call for US $100/month. I am also planning to offer VLSI training classes via internet if there is sufficient interest. Please email me at - rajesh9999@gmail.com

Note - This arrangement has been sucessfully tried in the IT industry. Students with background different from IT retained an expert on call for a fee for the first few months when they got the IT job (job got with fake experience on CV/resume) but knew little about the work. The expert was able to guide them via email, phone etc. and now they all are doing their jobs well and well settled in their careers. So it WORKS!!

Thanks
Rajesh
