can anyone tell me that , does ADC design comes under mixed signal design or can we still call it as a pure analog design?
And can we do all it's simulations in SPICE or do we need some othere tool for front end design???

ADC design

If the ADC is not complex, just like, sar, you can simulate it with spice. The pipeline ADC without calibtation can be simulated by spice, too

Re: ADC design

If the ΣΔ-ADC u need use matlab.

ADC design

You can use MATLAB to do the behavioral simulation and use cadence to do the transistor simulation.

ADC design

is it a mixed sigal or can we put ADC design in an
alog design
