hi
i am currently doing a project of the design of a dual band polygonal patch antenna for GSM and UMTS.I have finished designing the antenna with ansoft designer program. Now i have to build the microstrip antenna which i have simulated. Can any one please help me in the hardware designiing of the microstrip antenna..I am using coaxial feeding method.I have to design and fabricate the antenna.I would like to know how does the feeding line will be connected to the antenna and how to combine the ground part, substrate and the patch together.I would really appriciate if anyone would help me since i am really in a rush of time.tq

Hi, probably you can export your design file to gerber file for pcb fabrication purpose.

Usually, patch antenna design will be on the top side of PCB substrate while your ground plane is on the other side.

You can refer to Balanis book ;)
