Hi,
I'm encountering the following issues.. in my implementaion phase.
Tool Used :: Montery (dolphin)
Question :: How is the placement grid computation done in any physical design tool
'm also pasting in a part of the log report to give you guys a clear idea.
Stage :: Global Placement
" Info[PIF-0003] : CoreBoundingBox computation:
1. initial CBB defined by DEF die area statement: [
(-1637.48, -1637.48), (1637.48, 1637.48) ]
2. CBB shrunk to account for user-specified pad-to-core
separations: [ (-417.48, -417.48), (417.48, 417.48) ]
3. CBB shrunk to be an even multiple of standard cell
height: [ (-417.48, -414.96), (417.48, 414.96) ]
4. CBB shrunk to DP grid: [ (-417.04, -414.96), (417.04,
414.96) ]
Info[PIF-0004] : CoreBoundingBox computed to be [ (-417.04, -414.96),
(417.04, 414.96) ]
