carrer in field of analog and mixed singal design

hi every one,

i want to start my career in analog and mixed design side and i am doing my project right now in fpga vhdl coding . i wnat to know what are the basic things i should prepare for future in mixed signal designer and analog designer what i mean is the basic things in vlsi.

which companies in india are presently working on analog and mixed singal design . if anybody has some idea plz share to me and how i should prepare for interviews if anybody has papers plz do forward me

whats the hot field now in mixed signal and analog desing side........

Analog and Mixed signal design is a extensive field. It requires lots of skills.
Like good knowledge of Analog design ( mainly opamp based), good digital design skills, knowledge of various device parameters and parasits. etc...

but that's not it....and as far as companies are concerned , there are some (if not many) companies in India that are working on Mixed signal design. check out various VLSI forums on net and u'd get some idea.

But getting a job in this domain is not easy unless u are a MTech or M.S.
Rest assured, the future is bright.
