How to calculate difference mode trace with 100ohm impedance

if i have two layer (FR4) , i want to know how to calculate trace size with
100 ohm impedance . hope advance person can help me .

Hi

These datas are insufficient to calculate the Impedance. You should know the dielecric thickness from the reference plane, trace thickness, dielectric constant of the material, loss tangent, operating frequency.

I am agree with Mr. Nagraj
U need to provide the above data for calculating impedance.
ANyway its very difficult to calculate manually.
Better is use any post simulation tool to calculate the desired trace width

you may use 2d field simulator to calculate the impedance of traces
go at www.ansoft.com and download Maxwell software you can draw your cross-section and calculate on your own the LC parametr and the impedance of your configuration
