    What is an IR drop and what causes it?

    Hi

    anybody can give me explanation for IR drop?

    what cause it? Some materials supply?

    ir-drop

    Basically everything that has current going through it also has an associated voltage drop.

    ir drop

    V = I x R is the Ohm's law.

    Actually Gliss is not completely right. IR drop is the drop in voltage that appears at the RESISTIVE COMPONENT of any impedance (not it's reactive component).
