    circuit diagram of usb

    Hi,
interconnection between two PC's via USB is based on TCP/IP. It's not ordinary wiring. And available products are very slow, about 6Mbit/s. Theoreticaly it could be possible e.g with two PIC 18F4550 and using parallel. But this is madness, I think.

This is only one complete solution which i have found:

... or two FTDI USB-to-UART chips.

This is not necessarily madness. Such device can be used to simulate a USB device, which doesn't yet exist, with a PC.

    usb to uart circuit diagram

The problem with USB is the software and the drivers. With ethernet, you can use simple TCP/IP based software that every PC has.
