HI TO ALL
I THINK THERE ARE MAJOR PROBLEM OF WRONG BILLING OF ELECTRICITY
AND ALSO THE MORE ENERGY CONSUMPTION THEN RATED POWER BY APPLICES
SO I WANT TO DESIGN A ENERGY METER FOR SHOWING WATT CONSUMPTION
AND IT SI GOOD IF IT CAN SHOW VOLT AND CURRENT
BUT I AM GETTING PROBLEM TO DESIGN CURRENT SENSING TRANSFARMER
COULD ANY ONE GIVE THE SUGESSTION WITH CIRCUIT IDEA

THERE IS ALSO A ARTICLE OF THIS ON SILICON CHIP BUT I AM UNABLE TO GET IT
 

you can use a turoid such as the picture attached to measure current of a wire (if the current is AC current of known wave form, e.g. sine).
